Beach Campfires is the only official vendor to provide full service fires on Volusia County Beaches. As vendors, we can drive in no drive zones which makes setting up fires super easy. We have the proper equipment to easily haul everything you need on and off any location at the beach. A permit is not required when booking a fire with us.  All official vendors have successfully completed and passed beach safety certification. Volusia County takes beach safety seriously and so do we. Due to turtle nesting, fires are not permitted on the beach May 1st through October 31st. The 2023/24 booking calendar is open now to book a Beach Campfire. 
  • Does Beach Campfires obtain the permit for me?
    No, Beach Campfires is not required to obtain a permit because we are an official vendor services all Volusia County Beaches.
  • Is one of your Jeeps Sandy Cheeks?
    Yes, Sandy is the OG. We are huge SpongeBob fans! She is always on the beach. Sand sticks to Sandy and gets into hard to reach places.
  • I have a lot of questions, if I call will I get to speak with a human?
    Yep. You may initially get our answering service if we are busy but one of our live humans will call you back asap to answer all your questions.
  • What type of firewood do you use?
    Beach Campfires only uses seasoned hardwoods.
  • What is a Stuffed Puff?
    A Stuffed Puff is a unique brand that figured out how to put the chocolate inside the marshmallow so you don't end up a chocolate, sticky mess when making your S'more.
  • What is the best nighttime activity on Daytona Beach?
    Beach Campfires offers a variety of party equipment rentals, such as adirondack chairs, glow in the dark bocce ball sets, tables, coolers, and portable speakers. In addition, they also offer fire pits, which are perfect for beach campfires and other outdoor events.   • Do I need a permit for a fire on the beach?
    No, not when booking your fire with Beach Campfires.
  • What is a log bundle?
    A log bundle is 4 to 5 pieces of firewood.
  • Is it legal to have a fire on the beach?
    Yes but only during non-turtle nesting season. Every county has different rules.
  • Would a beach campfire be a good date night idea in Daytona Beach?
    Absolutely! You can even book a sunrise or sunset package. The only thing you have to do is bring your significant other, we will handle all the set up.
  • I want to add Beach Campfires as a resort amenity for my guests every weekend, is this possible?

  • Why is your Jeep named Burnie Sinders?
    Because he is always burning something, oil, gas, tires... And we thought it was a cleaver tie in with Beach Campfires.
  • Is the firepit going to turn back into a pumpkin, what's with the 11 o'clock rule?
    I hope not. I put a lot of time and effort into those firepits. There's no turning back. Volusia County Rules and Regulations state that all fires on the beach must be extinguished no later than 11pm.
  • Do you have corporate event pricing?

  • What if it's a really special occasion that I am celebrating, do you provide other services not listed?
    Sure, like Grandma's 80th birthday? I get it. Give us a call, we don't want to disappoint Grandma.
  • What is a MUST DO on Daytona Beach?
    Good times with all your favorite people around a Beach Campfire of course!
  • When are fires extinguished?
    At the end of your reserved time slot or 11pm.
  • What is your refund policy?
    If you give us a 24 hour notice we will issue a full refund. If there is a downpour or other weather related event that ruins your fire, you can either choose an alternate date or a full refund.
  • Can I book a Beach Campfire on location?
    Absolutely you can but we can't guarantee we will have one available so booking ahead is recommended.
  • What if I decide to add time after my fire starts?
    Just flag down your Beach Attendant. We can accept payment for extra services on location.
  • What if I only need 2 chairs with my Beach Campfire Pit?
    If you only need two chairs, then simply use two of the four chairs provided. Or, invite a few friendly looking people on the beach to join you. You need to expand your circle of friends if you can only find one other person to join you on this super amazingly awesome experience.
  • What's included in a booking?
    Every booking includes a three hour Beach Campfire with four Adirondack chairs at the location you select. We place one bundle of logs in the pit and leave one bundle off to the side. The fire will be lit by a Beach Attendant when you arrive on site.
  • What if I can't make it to my fire at the scheduled start time?
    Send us a text and we will delay lighting your fire. You can always add on burn time too.
